About Us

Bright Futures Learning, Social and Recreation Centre is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider offering a variety of activities and programs to suit an Indvidual's needs. These include development-life skills, arts and crafts, games and hobbies, outings and events, and community access. The aim of our services is to encourage confidence, independence, growth and enjoyment. Services are run from our day centre located within the historical City of Ipswich in South East Queensland. Our facility has car parking and wheelchair access and offers a home environment with rooms catering to education programs, group activities, cooking, handcrafts i.e. woodworking and creating garden spaces outside. Check out Our Services section or send us an enquiry to ask about our full list of activities and programs.

Bright Futures Learning, Social and Recreation Centre was developed in 2023 by director, Kylie-Ann Jewell, and operations and client service manager, Christine Lawrence. It was created in response to our highly popular and much loved Fernvale Aftercare Day Centre which has been running successfully for the past 4 years. We are excited for our unique day centres to extend into other locations providing a fun, comfortable and safe environment for our participants to thrive and meet other people. Our team of staff is committed to understanding the needs and goals of participants, and finding solutions to deliver the best quality supports and services. We can assist in your learning and development, exploring your interests or just getting out and about within the community. We look forward to helping you nurture your gifts, grow your dreams and share your achievements.
